MASON CITY – A Mason City man was discovered to be in possession of an illegal drug during a stop for drunk driving.
Just after 10 PM on January 23, a Cerro Gordo deputy conducted a traffic stop near Washington Avenue and 1st Street NW. During the course of the investigationm the deputy learned that the driver, James Tyrone Woods, age 49, ws a barred driver and had no insurance. As the vehicle was searched, marijuana was discovered. It was also determined that Woods was intoxicated.
Woods was arrested and taken to the Cerro Gordo jail, where he was booked and later released pending a court date.

He doesn’t look to worried about being arrested. He know the judges will let him back on the streets today.
@LVS…Plus he will probably continue to drive as well and won’t pay the fines anyway.
I’m sure he has a medical condition too, otherwise he wouldn’t have had the marijuana.
