FORT DODGE – On Friday October 18, 2013 at 5:38 P.M. Claude Tyree Middlebrooks, an inmate assigned to the Fort Dodge Correctional Facility, was discovered unresponsive on the floor in the assigned cell. Emergency medical procedures including CPR were immediately implemented by responding officers and medical personnel. Fort Dodge Emergency Medical Responders arrived and continued emergency medical protocols. At 6:10 P.M. Middlebrooks was transported by ambulance to Trinity Regional Hospital where Middlebrooks was pronounced dead at 6:33 P.M.
The official cause of death will be determined following the results of an autopsy, including toxicology testing. The final result may not be known for four to six weeks. The incident remains under investigation.
Midlebrooks was 31 years old and serving a ten year sentence from Linn County for three counts of Sexual Abuse Third Degree. This sentence began on August 10, 2006.

I’m pretty sure the guards had something to with his death he wad murdered probably because of what he convicted of one those little girls fathers probably put a hit out on Claude prison officials know what their r capable they don’t care what happens to child molesters in prison all there to do is turn their heads and look the other way when in fact their suppose protect inmates regardless of what convicted of those prison officials r no better than Claude was those guards need to locked up
@cw-if that is true, and I am not saying it isn’t, it sure took them a long time to get to him. He has been in prison for seven years. Also, Fort Dodge is minimum security, so, if the wanted him it would have been easy. To bad they don’t do that to more of them and then throw in the damn dopers too.
