MASON CITY – A man was nabbed by police Monday in the Cultural Crescent on suspicion of stealing a lawnmower.
According to a report, at about 3 PM Monday afternoon, a Cerro Gordo County sheriff’s deputy observed a male subject, Nathan Lee Olson, age 25, operating a lawnmower in the area where a lawnmower theft had been reported. The deputy detained Olson until Mason City police officers. Four officers responded to the scene.
Olson was arrested on a charge of fifth degree theft and taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail and later released.
Cultural Crescent is what you call a dead area of a city once you have started throwing millions of taxpayer dollars at it.
1)Before millions of dollars-old, dead, run down,
2)After millions of dollars-old , dead, “Cultural Crescent”
