CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa men’s basketball team scored an 82-75 victory over the Saint Mary’s College Gaels on Sunday in the McLeod Center.
UNI (7-5 overall) got double-figure scoring from four starters, including a team-high 18 points from sophomore Seth Tuttle.
Saint Mary’s (8-3 overall) ws led by Jorden Page’s game-high 26 points.
UNI led 32-29 at the half following a three-pointer just before the buzzer by senior guard Marc Sonnen. The Panthers then outscored the Gaels 50-46 in the second half.
UNI will begin Missouri Valley Conference play Dec. 30 at Wichita State.
