NORA SPRINGS – Shortly before 10pm on Friday night a truck driver called the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department to report being struck by vehicle while traveling westbound on Hwy 18 near the Nora Springs exit.
Deputies located the vehicle near the California exit near Thrush Avenue and 250th Street. The driver listed as 30-year-old Levi Francis Anderson of 3204 3rd Street outside Charles City was arrested for 1st offence OWI, failure to maintain control, and open container by driver.
Levi was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail at 11:17pm and released the following day pending further court proceedings.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
