MASON CITY – A reader contacted NorthIowaToday.com Thursday afternoon to let us know a man was on a rope scaling the Principal building in downtown Mason City.
It turns out the guy was just washing windows.
He was seen taking quite a plunge from well above the third level down to the second level, but seemed always in control.
He had a large squeegee and other equipment, washing the large glass windows on the building, located at 111 West State Street.
