MASON CITY – Lime Creek will be offering another program just for kids on February 24th.
The program, called Get Active In Nature! (G.A.I.N.) will be held on Monday, February 24 at 4 p.m. at the Lime Creek Nature Center. Youths can enjoy some exercise in nature on a winter afternoon with a fun winter scavenger hunt. There is no cost. Those who wish to attend should call 423-5309 to register. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
G.A.I.N. is sponsored by the Lime Creek Nature Center and Cerro Gordo County Conservation Board. The target audience for these monthly programs is elementary-age children accompanied by an adult/guardian. The goal is to provide a natural area and guidance for parents and their children to get exercise and experience nature.
