MASON CITY – At the three North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) graduation ceremonies on Friday, May 3, nearly 700 graduates were recognized as earning nearly 860 Degrees, Diplomas, and Certificates during the 2023-24 academic year.

MILLS COUNTY, IOWA – An Iowa woman was taken by ambulance to a hospital and a Nebraska man was killed when their vehicles collided head-on in Mills county, Iowa, late Friday night.

CHARLES CITY – North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) will now offer tuition-free English as a Second Language (ESL) classes in Charles City. This program is specifically designed for adults 18 and older whose first language is not English.
