From the Clear Lake Police Department:
Today, August 5, 2012, Clear Lake Police arrested 25year old Clear Lake resident Marcus DeCarlo Brown on six counts of Sexual Abuse in the third degree, a class C felony. Clear Lake Police Chief Greg Peterson says that Brown turned himself into Clear lake Police after learning that a warrant had been issued for his arrest. According to Clear Lake Police, the arrest is the result of an investigation that began on July 29th. Brown is alleged to have had sex with a 13 year old Clear Lake girl on six separate occasions. Brown is currently being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail with bail on the charges set at $100,000.00.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
