Sharon Vivian Hamm, 75, of Mason City, lowa, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
A visitation will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 2-4 pm at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 2nd Street Southeast, Mason City Iowa.
Sharon was born on January 8, 1951, in Lead South Dakota, to Henry and Vivian (Billigmeier) Hertel. On September 16, 1968 Sharon married the love of her life Terry. Together they had three children; Tammy, Daniel, and David. Sharon worked at Alexander Manufacturing for over 20 years. She enjoyed solitaire and Tri-Chem painting, as well as cooking and baking. She was known to always be in the kitchen, feeding and taking care of others. Overall, she cherished her family, spending as much time as possible together.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Terry, her children Tammy (Dennis) Starkey and Daniel Hamm, as well as grandchildren Emily Starkey, Cody (Kyrsha) Starkey, Baylea Starkey, Samantha Hamm, and Zoey Mulert. Great-Grandchildren Kaiden and Emberly, Siblings Barry Hertel and Julie (Tom) Erdmann, Brother-in-Law Randy Hamm, Sister-in-Laws Mary Robinette, Faye Perry, Lori Hamm, Sandy Calvert, and Deb Hertel. As well as long time neighbor and close friend Judy Eden, several nieces and nephews and fur baby Bella Rose.
Proceeding Sharon in death include her son David Hamm, brother Dale Hertel, nephew TJ Erdmann, niece Shelly Robinette, and four half siblings Edgar, John, Frances, and Della. As well as brother’s in law Denny Robinette and John Calvert.
