MASON CITY – The NIACC women’s basketball team is ranked No. 11 in the NJCAA Division II poll released Monday.
NIACC, which is 8-0 overall and 2-0 in the ICCAC, was No. 12 in the Nov. 24 poll. The Trojans were No. 12 in the Nov. 17 poll, No. 15 in the Nov. 10 poll and No. 17 in the Oct. 20 preseason poll.
Johnson County CC (11-0) is ranked No. 1 and Kirkwood (5-0) is ranked No. 2. DMACC (8-0) is ranked No. 16.
Iowa Central (6-1) and Iowa Western (4-3) both received votes in this week’s poll.
NIACC returns to action Wednesday at home in an ICCAC showdown with No. 2 Kirkwood. Game time in the NIACC gym is slated for 5:30 p.m.
