Ruby’s home was always full of life, as she opened her doors to many foster children over the years. She was a longtime member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church and also worked at the VFW and the Moose Lodge, where she enjoyed the friendships she made there.
Those left to cherish memories of Ruby are her children, Debbie (Steve) Crane of Rock Rapids, Iowa, and Gail Pedelty and her significant other Don Stifel of Urbandale, Iowa; grandchildren, Holly (Noel) Wubbena, Jason Goette and his significant other Ali Stephens; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ruby is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Richard; son, Russell; her parents; and siblings, Betty Walkner, Delbert, Tom and Pete Colman.
Family would like to give a special thanks to Heritage Care Center for the great care and guidance for the eleven years that Ruby spent with them.
