Clueless Democrat Jackie Norris quits candidacy for U.S. Senate after Ian Roberts worship
DES MOINES - This absolutely clueless, entitled, pompous, lecturing, left-wing nut - Jackie Norris - who championed and practically worshipped the biggest con man in Iowa since Harold Hill, has finally given up her morbid campaign to be a U.S. Senator after a very lame appearance in Mason City this week.

Ian Andre Roberts – called himself a doctor, lied on his resume, duped eager leftists, made big bank – and now is in jail with no path left in America. Jackie Norris approved and defended his hiring.
DES MOINES – This absolutely clueless, entitled, pompous, lecturing, left-wing nut – Jackie Norris – who championed and practically worshipped the biggest con man in Iowa since Harold Hill, has finally given up her morbid campaign to be a U.S. Senator after a very lame appearance in Mason City this week.
The end for Jackie Norris of the Des Moines School Board came at 10:07 AM Thursday morning, when she feebly posted to her social media that she is ducking out of her campaign to replace Joni Ernst in the U.S. Senate.
“Thank you to all of my supporters and friends who have been steadfast in their support,” Norris said. “I will continue to serve our community and do everything I can to better the lives of children and their families.”
This announcement comes just a couple days after Norris retreated into the sticks to apparently try to fool Northern Iowa rubes into thinking she is worthy of a seat in Congress. Jackie Norris stumbled into a Mason City bar Monday night, still drunk on her high opinion of herself, trying to gather support for her campaign. Practically no one showed up, which clearly bruised her ego. The drive home had to be brutal.
Here is the rest of Norris’ concession in dipping out:
Jackie Norris
After thoughtful consideration, I have decided that I will no longer be a candidate for the US Senate in the Democratic primary. The most important thing to me is that Iowa elects a Democratic U.S. Senator who will put Iowans, and our state, first. Because in this moment we need a voice in Washington who will serve as a check on this President, and is focused on delivering for our families. The recent Des Moines Public Schools Superintendent crisis demanded my full attention as Board Chair and, overnight, put the School Board, our community, and me personally in the crosshairs of vicious and coordinated attacks. Those realities took time and oxygen away from the work I set out to do: stand up for our kids and families — and the backbone of our communities, their educators and caregivers. As Chair of the School Board, we stepped up and are bringing accountability—leading with grace, transparency, and resolve. To that end, it’s clear I need to focus on the work at hand: leading the board through this transition, working to support the passage of the Reimagining Education bond, and fully participating in ongoing investigations to get the answers our community deserves. I am deeply grateful to all of the supporters and friends who have been steadfast in their support. I will keep fighting for a better politics. I believe people will trust government again when politicians put people over a party label and get things done. I leave this race with my head high, and I’ll continue serving my community and doing everything I can to help Democrats win this seat.
