MASON CITY – A Mason City woman known for her prowess with a knife is now accused of credit card fraud.
Sierra Charon Moore, age 24 of Mason City, was booked into the Cerro Gordo county jail on May 2, 2025, at 8:26 PM. She was charged by Mason City police with two counts of aggravated misdemeanor credit card fraud (under $1500), a violation of Iowa code 715A.6(2)(c). She was released from jail and appears to be awaiting a court appearance.
Moore is a thrice-convicted felon from her antics during a violent incident in 2022. Mason City police dealt with Moore on February 12, 2022, after a call that she had a knife, was making threats, and folks were hiding. She was placed on 5 years of probation after the case ran its course in court. She’s been accused twice of violating her probation already, and in June of 2024 she was sentenced to 60 days in jail after she was guilty of assault and theft.

Can we bring back hangings?
I am sure it is on trump’s agenda.
I volunteer to be the one tying the knots
You should be careful because the way RFK III is going, he will decide that all mentally ill people need to be imprisoned or eliminated and you will be right near the top of his list.
Wow, what an interpretation of RFK
Based on his actions so far.
