Kristi’s early years in Mason City shaped a life that would be full of love, laughter, and adventure. After graduating from Mason City High School, she expanded her horizons at Kirkwood Community College, where she pursued her interests and prepared for a future that was as bright as her favorite color, orange. Kristi’s professional journey was marked by dedication and compassion, illustrated by her tenure at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa, the University of Iowa Hospital, and MCI before ultimately serving as a material and finance specialist for Delaco AMTB.
Kristi’s heart was fullest when surrounded by her beloved husband, Terry, and their children, Ella and Lincoln. Together, they built a life filled with unforgettable moments, often found on airplanes heading towards new experiences and, of course, Kristi’s cherished seafood meals. The family’s home in Montezuma, Iowa, was a sanctuary of love, where Kristi’s penchant for reading, cowboy shows, and the cozy embrace of a soft blanket were everyday comforts.
Her love for shopping was legendary, humorously referred to as an “Amazon addiction” by her husband and kids, and her excitement for live music was unmatched, especially when watching the Zac Brown Band with Terry. Kristi and Terry’s journey began in Mason City, where they cultivated their love and family before finding their dream home in Montezuma, a testament to their shared vision and aspirations.
