MINNEAPOLIS – 2-Seed Iowa (27-4) dropped 7-Seed Penn State (19-12), 95-62, inside a sold-out Target Center on Friday in the Quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament and will face Michigan today in the Semifinals.
National Player of the Year candidate, Caitlin Clark, surpassed Steph Curry’s NCAA men’s single season 3-pointers made record. (162) Clark finished with 24 points (10-11 FT), 10 rebounds, and seven assists. It was her 62nd career double-double she is fourth on the Big Ten’s all-time list.
Sydney Affolter netted a career-high with 18 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.
