Northern Iowa motorcyclist killed when truck pulls out into highway causing collision

WEBSTER COUNTY - A Northern Iowa motorcyclist died when a truck pulled into his path on a highway, causing a fatal collision.

WEBSTER COUNTY – A Northern Iowa motorcyclist died when a truck pulled into his path on a highway, causing a fatal collision.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, the accident took place August 29, 2023. At about 4:37 PM that day, a 2010 International truck driven by 57-year-old Daniel Lundberg of Lehigh, Iowa, was southbound on Johnson Avenue in Webster county. The truck pulled onto Highway 20 and failed to yield to an oncoming, eastbound 2018 Indian motorcycle, driven by 74-year-old Daniel Brown of Webster City, Iowa.

As a result of the collision, Brown was ejected off the motorcycle and killed, pronounced deceased at the scene.
