LIVERMORE, IOWA – A Northern Iowa man is dead in an accident after losing control of his car on a gravel road.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the accident occurred on Monday evening, August 22, 2022. At about 6:58 PM, 19-year-old Desiman Stone, Jr. was driving a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix northbound on Ohio Avenue in Humboldt county, ran the stop sign at the county line, and continued north into Kossuth county on 150th Avenue. He lost control of the vehicle on gravel, rolled several times, and was ejected.
As a result, Stone, Jr. was killed. The accident remains under investigation.
