RURAL WINNEBAGO COUNTY – A Northern Iowa man is dead after losing control of his pickup truck and it rolled.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, an accident occurred on the afternoon of July 3. At about 4:05 PM that day at 30th Avenue and 390th Street in rural Winnebago county, Troy Vaudt of Buffalo Center was driving a 1995 Toyota pickup north on 30th Avenue when he failed to negotiate a curve. Vaudt lost control of the vehicle and it rolled before coming to rest on top of him, the patrol says. As a result, Vaudt was killed.
The Iowa State Patrol was Assisted by the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, Buffalo Center Fire/Rescue, and Buffalo Center Ambulance Service.
