Paul John Mason, 75, of 1100 5th Ave., Charles City died Monday morning, January 31, 2022 at Mercy One, Mason City.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Charles City and a memorial service in Florida
Paul was born on January 12, 1947 in Michigan the son of Patrick Joseph and Arlene Doris “Reckley” Mason. He became a general contractor and in the early 70’s he moved to Florida to work with his father. Even after retirement we continued to refurbish homes in the area. He was an avid fisherman and boating was a passion. He also enjoyed camping. In 2013 he moved to Charles City with his wife Sherry Joslin. They were married on February 28, 2010 in Jensen Beach, Florida.
Surviving Paul are his Siblings: Christine Gannage – California, Mark Mason, Kevin Mason, Tim Mason, and James Mason all of Florida, his children, David Mason, Phillip Mason, Danielle Mason Phippen, all of Colorado, and Kelly Mason Dugger of California, 7 – grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren, Step-Sons: Jason (Amy) Joslin, Jesse Joslin, and James (Ammie) Joslin all of Charles City, along with 7 Step-Grandchildren
Preceding Paul in death is his brother David Mason.
