Iowa man accused of harming two-week old infant

NEVADA, IOWA – An Iowa man is accused of harming a two-week old infant that was left in his care.

On October 28, 2020, 26-year-old Christopher Lee Roberts Moran was arrested on the charge Child Endangerment Causing Serious injury, a class C Felony in violation of Iowa code 726.6(5). It is alleged on October 20, 2020, Moran was responsible for causing injuries to a two-week-old infant while under Moran’s direct care. The infant was taken to a local hospital and subsequently transferred and admitted to a Des Moines hospital.

The condition of the infant is not available immediately.

Moran was transported to the Story County Jail.

The investigation was conducted by the Nevada Public Safety Department and the Division of Criminal Investigation.
