PALO ALTO COUNTY, IOWA – A Northern Iowa man wanted on 5 arrest warrants was nabbed by cops.

On May 27, 2020 at 10:10 p.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Cory Powell of Emmetsburg on five arrest warrants that stemmed from an incident in Ayrshire on March 23, 2020. The arrest warrants were issued for possession of a controlled substance – marijuana 1st offense (serious misdemeanor), possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor), disorderly conduct – fighting or violent behavior (simple misdemeanor), reckless driving (simple misdemeanor), and failure to obey stop sign (simple misdemeanor).

Powell was unable to post the $2,900 bond and was placed in the Palo Alto County Jail to await an initial appearance in front of a judge. He later bonded out, records show.
