SHEFFIELD – Residents of Sheffield are invited to participate in a community clean-up this weekend.
The event will be held Saturday, June 19th, 2021 from 9:00 am — 1:00 pm. This is a free service to residents.
A large container for scrap metal items will be located on the empty lot of Gilman and S 2nd St. Drop off items such as wire, fencing, bicycles, lawn furniture, bed frames, doors w/out glass, grills, etc. Items NOT included are TVs, all electronics, tires, propane tanks. No household hazardous waste (collection day for this is Monday, June 14).
Residence curbside pickup of appliances (refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, window ac, etc.). Please have items by the street for pickup by 9am.
Items for the city burn site will be picked up during this time. These items are limited to brush, sticks, and bagged yard waste.
