Gov. Reynolds appoints Bethany Currie and Charles Borth as district court judges

DES MOINES – Gov. Kim Reynolds appointed Bethany Currie as district court judge in Judicial District 2B.  Gov. Reynolds also appointed Charles Borth as district court judge in Judicial District 3A

Currie, of Marshalltown, received her law degree from the Drake University and her undergraduate degree from Augustana College.  She currently serves as a Magistrate in Marshall County.

Judicial District 2B covers Boone, Calhoun, Carroll, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Humboldt, Marshall, Pocahontas, Sac, Story, Webster, and Wright counties.

Borth, of Spencer, received his law degree from Drake University and his undergraduate degree from Mankato State University.  He currently serves as a District Associate Judge in District 3.

Judicial District 3A covers Lyon, Osceola, Dickinson, Emmet, Kossuth, Palo Alto, Clay, O’Brien, Cherokee, and Buena Vista counties.
