Casey’s store robbed in Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE – A Casey’s convenience store was robbed Saturday night in Fort Dodge and so far, the culprit hss gotten away.

On May 19th, 2018 at 11:11 pm, the Webster County Telecommunication Center received a 911 call from Casey’s at 1133 S 22nd Street, indicating that they had just been robbed. Fort Dodge Police responded to the scene where they learned that a male presented the cashier with a written note demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount, the male ran out of the store heading south. Law enforcement did a thorough search for the suspect in the surrounding area, but was unable to locate him.

The suspect is described as a white male being between 5’9” and 6’ tall. He was wearing a dark ski mask that covered his face, a blue Iowa State sweatshirt, blue jeans and dark colored shoes.
