MASON CITY – Two North Iowa teens were caught shoplifting at Walmart this weekend.
A theft was reported at Walmart, 4151 4th Street SW, on Friday, April 29 at about 9:12 PM. Two alleged shoplifters were detained at the scene by loss-prevention employees. A Mason City police officer was dispatched to investigate. As a result, two teens were charged: Madison Michelle Bisenius, age 18 of Britt and Carlee Lynn Hay, age 17 of Meservey.
Bisenius was charged with fifth-degree theft and underage possession of alcohol. She was arrested and taken to the county jail. Hay was cited as a minor and released.
