Fight reported in downtown Mason City early Sunday

ambulanceMASON CITY – A man showed up at the Mason City police department early Sunday with a jaw injury after police were summoned to the downtown for a fight.

The trouble began at just before 2:00 AM, when police were called to the 000 block of North Federal Avenue for a fight, apparently involving 4 or more males. NIT is told the men were frequenting bars in the area and an argument developed. The altercation may have stretched north to the 100 block of North Federal.

Police arrived and attempted to sort out the situation; some were questioned. NIT awaits word on any arrests and identification of those involved.

Soon thereafter, at 2:27 AM, a male subject walked to the MCPD headquarters on South Georgia Avenue and reported an injury. Police called an ambulance and said he likely had a broken jaw.

aww the good old days of Bruiser, stoned toad, petes place, college inn, warehouse 10 and etc. miss it

I miss those places. I learned how to play Snooker in Pete’s place and the whiny ass liberals would have gotten their asses kicked in any of those places.
