PHOENIX, ARIZONA – A jury of citizens in Arizona has returned felony charges against Donald Trump cronies who illegally schemed and plotted to reverse the losing results of the 2020 presidential election for the defeated ex-President.
Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes on Wednesday announced that the State Grand Jury has returned indictments in the ongoing investigation into the fake elector scheme in Arizona. The following individuals are named as defendants in the indictment: Kelli Ward, Tyler Bowyer, Nancy Cottle, Jacob Hoffman, Anthony Kern, James Lamon, Robert Montgomery, Samuel Moorhead, Lorraine Pellegrino, Gregory Safsten, and Michael Ward.
Additional named defendants have been indicted but redacted from the attached copy. An unredacted version of the indictment will be made available after all defendants have been served. However, it is widely reported now that some big names are connected to this case, some facing charges, others, not yet. Among them not yet charged appears to be Donald Trump. Also connected are reportedly Rudy Giuliani , Mark Meadows, and others.
Charges include fraud, forgery, and conspiracy – class 2, 4, and 5 felonies.
Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump in the 2020 election by millions of votes, but it was close in Arizona. Joe Biden tallied 1,672,143 votes, while Donald Trump tallied 1,661,686 votes. This clinched the state’s 11 Electoral Votes for Biden.
THE CONSPIRACY AND SCHEME.
In Arizona, and the United States, the people elected Joseph Biden as President on November 3, 2020. Unwilling to accept this fact, Defendants and unindicted coconspirators schemed to prevent the lawful transfer of the presidency to keep Unindicted Coconspirator 1 in office against the will of Arizona’s voters. This scheme would have deprived Arizona voters of their right to vote and have their votes counted.
After the general election on November 3, 2020, Defendants raised false claims of widespread election fraud in Arizona to pressure election officials to change the outcome of a democratic election. Those efforts failed when the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, Secretary of State, and Governor certified Arizona’s election. Republican Presidential Elector Defendants then voted for President Donald Trump and Vice President Michael Pence on December 14, 2020, falsely claiming to be the ((duly elected and qualified Electors for President and Vice President of the United States from the State of Arizona.”
Defendants deceived the citizens of Arizona by falsely claiming that those votes were contingent only on a legal challenge that would change the outcome of the election. In reality, Defendants intended that their false votes for TrumpPence would encourage Pence to reject the Biden-Harris votes on January 6, 2021, regardless of the outcome of the legal challenge. When combined with the six other States where Republican electors sent in uncertified votes for TrumpPence, Defendants wanted Pence to either declare Unindicted Coconspirator 1 the winner of the election, delay the proceeding and have individual state legislatures determine their electors, or have Congress resolve any claimed uncertainty about the validity of election results in Arizona and six other states in Unindicted Coconspirator 1’s favor. The scheme failed when Vice President Michael Pence accepted all certified Biden-Harris votes on January 6, 2021.
The news keep getting worse for trump. His children haven’t been in court in NYC to support their father. His followers now are concerned about the emotional and physical toll the trial is having on the 77 year old man. He cant shut his mouth about people he has been ordered not to talk about in the media and is looking at contempt of court charges in addition to the more serious charges in his New York trial. His money is drying up and his popularity is propped up by a group of people who refuse to see the truth. He may end up in an asylum before he goes to prison. Grand Juries are bringing nearly all the charges against Trump, across the country. These are American citizens. They decide if the case has merit and if so, the charges go forward. The prosecutor, no matter what the party affiliation, cannot do this alone. We saw this with the GOP impeachment attempt of Joe Biden. No basis, no facts, no case, no impeachment. Courtrooms operate in reality, not social media echo chambers.
Yeah all the court cases, witnesses, judges, juries are all against Trump. Even though 74 million people voted for him, 47%. If you deny the things that are directly in front of you there’s nobody that can help you. Trump supporters never surprise me with their ignorance.
