We already have a Medical cannabis law, yes, it needs to be updated to include other Medical diagnoses.
No, we do not want drugheads driving our on our streets or wandering around under the influence just because they want to be high.
So, I propose this amendment. Unless a person is exempt under a medical prescription from a Medical Doctor; any possession of cannabis in Iowa should be treated as a Felony, with fines starting at $5,000 per conviction and five years in prison. I don’t care if it is just a cigarette.
Anyone selling cannabis without a Pharmacy license, if convicted, should serve at a minimum 25 years in prison and forfeit all assets.
Finally, anyone convicted of driving under the influence of cannabis, should be sentenced to 10 years in prison, and fined $10,000 for each offense. NO Judicial discretion allowed! After a 3rd offense, that person should be deported to North Korea.
That should take care of the drughead problem in Iowa.
Now, that is a plan I can support.

I wonder how many of the 20 something candidates are going to “commit suicide” between now and then to allow this wacko Hillary Clinton a shot at being the nominee.
The only way Clinton will be the nominee is if the Republicans put her there. She doesn’t have the backing of the Democrats and the party will see a mass migration away from it if she would somehow hijack the nomination. Those migrating would not vote for trump but would find a 3rd party candidate of their liking – probably Sanders.
