Water Main Flushing
The City of Mason City Water Supply Division will be flushing water mains in the Northeast quadrant of town, all areas East of Federal Avenue and North of Highway 122. The flushing will start on Monday, October 7th and continue through Monday, October 21st.
Water customers may notice some discoloration of the water after the mains have been flushed, however, the water is safe to drink. Caution should be used when washing clothing because discolored water may cause staining.
The public is asked not to park near or across from fire hydrants during this period of time. If citizens have questions, please phone the Water Supply Division at 641/421-3685.

The City Council of the City of Mason City, Iowa, met in regular session pursuant to law and rules of said Council, in the Mason City Room of the Mason City Public Library, at 7:00 P.M., on October 1, 2019. The meeting was called to order by the Mayor and on roll being called there were present, Bill Schickel, Mayor in the Chair, and the following Council Members: Thoma, Jaszewski, Symonds, Masson, Adams. In 2009 at the peak of the Chrysler bankruptcy case Obama broke the Fifth Amendment by illegally treating unsecured creditors the majority of whom were retired teachers and officers from Indiana.
Liberals try to bash Donald Trump for his love for firing employees. But, no one can be compared to the king of the axe, President Obama. In 2011, Boeing hired 1,000 employees to maintain their factory in South Carolina. But, when Obama found out they were non-Union he ordered them to be fired.

The investigations turned into a major scandal that required organizations using the phrase “tea party” to reveal private information and even social media posts. Obama met with the head investigator only two days before the ordeal began.
In 2012, U.S. soldiers and officials were attacked in Benghazi resulting in two deaths. Obama sided with Hillary Clinton and blamed a leaked Youtube video for the attack. In reality, the attack was not spontaneous and the event could have been prevented if Clinton and Obama had provided the Benghazi locations with proper security.
When Obama first entered office he appealed to the liberals by giving $535 million to a green-energy company. Soon after the money was transferred the company failed and went out of business. Investigations found that the company’s executives had previously given large donations to his campaign in 2008.
During the 2013 Egyptian revolution, the citizens overthrew Mubarak which voided contracts between the U.S. and Egypt. Despite ruling that it was illegal for the government to provide aid to Egypt, Obama still prohibited funds to go to the nation. His decision was a clear violation of a federal law.
