CHARLES CITY – A Charles City man was arrested for shoplifting and pled guilty the next day.
On July 28, Charles City police were called to a business at the 1400 block of South Grand Avenue after a shoplifting incident was reported. After an investigation, 35-year-old Trentin Huffman was arrested and charged with 5th degree theft.
The next day, Huffman pled guilty to 5th degree theft. He was ordered to pay $272.75 in fines and court fees.
