MASON CITY – A woman was seen passed out in a store parking lot, leading to her arrest for drunk driving.
According to Mason City police, Thursday night May 14 at 11:16 PM, a concerned citizen reported a woman was passed out in a car that was parked in the Walgreens parking lot, located at 1251 4th Street SW in Mason City. Police arrived, and after an investigation, the driver, 23-year-old Hanah Eberhardt of Mason City was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicate and possession of drug paraphernalia. Eberhardt was then taken to jail, processed and released later Friday as she awaits a court date.
If she was passed out and the car was not running, and it was parked on private property they should not have arrested her. It is a bull sh## charge.
Her nose is awfully red.
