CLEAR LAKE – Clear Lake head football coach Fred Wieck has resigned.
It was announced that Wieck will work as a volunteer for his son Rudy, who is the new head coach at Storm Lake.
Wieck won state titles at GMG in 1987 and Clear Lake in 2000. His career record is 279-91 over 36 years.

Of course there are those that disagree, but not those that know the “hidden chapters” behind his transgressions while in Clear Lake.

I really don’t care about his “hidden chapters”. We all have them and it is our right to keep them hidden if we choose to do so.
And there will be those of us who disagree with you. Great coach and a good person.
