Second offense just tells me she didn’t learn a thing from the first one. Do not drink and drive.

I will never understand nor accept this corrupt racket going on. Without knowing all the details, prima fascie, you have this young woman out on a Saturday night, dressed up, and for whatever reason she drove onto railroad property (to smoke a doobie or do a line?). But in this ultra regulated society she transgressed the to-and-fro-Applebees for your 1.3 drinks and food paradigm, and now she must PAY THE PRICE. Looking at it from the clouds, you see how stupid it all is.

You don’t have to understand it. You WILL accept it or you will go to jail. Why are you in favor of drunk driving?

I’m NOT for drunk driving. I’m in favor of a society that only punishes people who demonstrate true harm, not supposed harm. The laws need to be re-done to demonstrate this philosophy. DUI’s with no accident or damage are excessively draconian. They seriously disrupt your life for 2 years or more. With the absence of good public transportation, the equation is rigged, and is set up to accumulate maximum DUI arrests. Change the damn alcohol industry FIRST, go after motorists SECOND

@Philamena-Why don’t you go after M.A.D.? They are the ones who push all the DUI laws.
