MASON CITY – An emergency call was made from the Wendy’s restaurant in Mason City Monday night and police responded to an alleged incident where two females were engaged in parking lot combat.
The call came at about 8:30 PM Monday evening. Employees at Wendy’s, 1017 South Federal Avenue, apparently dialed 911 to report that two women were fighting in the parking lot and one appeared to be getting choked.
Two police cars arrived just moments later and discovered one male and two females near a red pick-up truck. Both females appeared to be upset and crying. The male sat in the driver’s side of the pick-up truck.
As police were taking statements, an agitated man in a green shirt walked quickly on Federal Avenue toward the scene, murmuring “what the hell now” and other colorful phrases as he approached one of the women involved in the incident. As the man talked to the woman, he turned and flipped his middle finger at the NIT reporter on the scene. He stood next to the older female as an officer attempted to question her. A second female could be seen sitting in the red pickup, sobbing. Another officer was questioning her.
Police separated all the characters, and for several minutes took statements. A third officer drove through to check the situation. Soon, an officer approached and said “There’s nothing left to see here. It was a juvenile – parent incident” and then indicated that the NIT reporter standing on a public sidewalk should leave. “There’s a juvenile involved, so I wouldn’t put anything out there,” the officer warned. I think they call her “Red” in the commercials. And YIKES, I didn’t realize she had so many Viagra studs as groupies. lol
The red head is acutally wendy
I can’t stand the Wendy’s commercials. With the Red head singing songs from the 80’s. that’s enough to keep me from eating at Wendy’s.
I think she is pretty hot.
@maybe-I like her too. A little young for me but who is counting.
age is only a number
@maybe-My mind tells me that too, but, my body says something different.
When I worked at the casinos in Laughlin there was a guy in security that was married to a lady at the front desk. He was 60 and she was 27 and they were very much in love.
@maybe-he probably had a lot of money and took Viagra.
He wasn’t rich but he said he did take little blue pills.
Their food is disgusting.
