Hotel built next to city hall + no city hall parking= Will need to build new city hall. Hotel would build on part of southbridge mall foot print. This new hotel is wrong in so many ways. Investment for out of state people but we will live with the negative outcomes.
More-White went on to list some of the negative effects of marijuana on users, noting that it suppresses the dopamine receptors in your brain, won’t wear off like beer or alcohol, and causes a drop in your IQ if used for an extended period of time. “In addition to a lowered IQ, those with a family history of mental disorders are two to five times more likely to develop mental disorders,” he added.
White said marijuana also increases the chance of a heart attack by the user.

He pointed to the fact marijuana is stronger today than in the 1970s. “Tetrahydrocannabinol, the psychoactive drug in marijuana, has risen from 5 percent to an average of 13 percent as a part of marijuana. In some medical dispensaries in Colorado, it now makes upwards of 30 percent of the drug,” White said.

On another note: Why would Germany bother imprisoning fighters who join ISIS for a mere 4 years? The better course of action is for their citizenship to be revoked. 4 years will only give the fighter a chance to study up on the Quran, and better feel as a martyr for his religion. Just revoke and reject these people from ever setting foot in western nations again. There’s a better chance to kill them on the battlefield in Syria than to waste resources and time trying to “correct”.

have to go to Fareway for my type of Crystal Light, Hy-Vee is almost always out of the Lemon-Lime Canada Dry H2O, so we get plain and then search other stores, since Walmart doesn’t carry it. Hershey’s Sugar Free candy- only at Walmart. Hillshire Farms Pastrami for Mark-only at Walmart. Pepto-Bismol non-chewable- only Walmart. And we can’t stand the fresh meat there. Sugarfree chocolate chips- only Hy-vee but usually out. None of my beauty products are in town. OK I am done whining.
With everything that is going on in this world, what I am about to blog is really not that big of a deal. But, it is a pet peeve and I wonder if anyone else feels this way as well ????
In order to complete my grocery and supply shopping in Mason City, it requires going to multiple stores to get what I want. It would seem that a stores like Hy-Vee and Walmart would stock more commonly purchased items. I live 2 blocks from Hy-Vee West so I like to go there first. Next page…
