Charles City man who skipped court caught by police

CHARLES CITY – A wanted Charles City man was caught by police on May 21st.

Jaiton Mangun, age 20, skipped a court hearing on May 20th and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Mangun is facing two felony D drug charges that were brought by Charles City police earlier this year.

Mangun was located by a police officer and arrested, booked into jail and released after pleading not guilty to the drug offenses.  No court date has been set.
