CLEAR LAKE – Police in Clear Lake stopped a Mason City woman who they say crashed her car as she drove drunk through town.

Police told NIT that 27-year-old Hillary Ann Marie Hermen was stopped by an officer after she had been involved in a hit-and-run incident at 3rd Avenue North and North Shore Drive. The officer stopped her car about 30 minutes later.

Hermen was charged with operating while intoxicated. She plead guilty to second offense operating while intoxicated in 2008. Hermen was also charged with interference with official acts. Police were unable to elaborate on that charge. She was also charged with failure to prove liability insurance.

Hermen was held on $5,000 cash or surety bond and later released from the Cerro Gordo County Jail.

Matt we should start a list of all kids under 30 that are always in the pokey. Must have at least 5 charges against them. Hope we don’t run out of space!

I wonder what their parents think as they are very nice people. I think they gave these two brats everything they wanted. I know so many parents and grandparents that are the same way and almost all of them are having the same problems with their kids and grandkids. What a Shame

Wonder if shes related to Aaron hermen?

I’m glad everyone thinks it’s all so amusing, as they feed themselves into the system strengthening it.

#rd offense means huge fine and jail time.

I meant 3rd offense.
