MASON CITY – A Clear Lake man is in jail at this time, held on accusations of delivering methamphetamine.
Clear Lake police picked up Todd Michael Cookman on the evening of September 13th on an arrest warrant for violating a pre-trial release agreement. He had been awaiting a December 3rd, 2013 trial on two counts of delivering methamphetamine after an arrest by Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs this past July.
He is now being held on $20,000.00 cash-only bond.
Cookman has previously pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance.
The guy is an idiot. I believe his father was a police officer. I am sure it is gutwrenching for him to see his son haven gone down this path.
I think in order to be a criminal they should take an IQ test, that should cut down on 95% of them.
Not real bright is he?
