MASON CITY – A Mason City woman who has been arrested frequently is back behind bars this weekend.

Sara Jean Ramon, 23, was on the run for the last ten days from authorities after skipping a pre-trial conference hearing on July 2nd at the Cerro Gordo County Courthouse. Judge Dedra L. Schroeder immediately issued an arrest warrant for Ramon. Mason City police caught up with Ramon at 923 North Federal Avenue on the evening of July 11th and made the arrest. She is now being held on $10,000 cash/surety bond.

Ramon’s hearing concerned a felony charge of methamphetamine delivery brought by Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs in March.

Since 2012, Ramon has been arrested for felony burglary (received a deferred judgement and probation, which she later violated; she still owes Iowa courts $1,882.47) and involvement in a high speed chase involving known-crook and felon Michael “Bushy Boy” Bush.
