College Football: Iowa State 20 – TCU 17

FORT WORTH, TEXAS - Iowa State traveled to Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas and beat the TCU Horned Frogs, 20-17, in front of 44,197 fans. The Cyclones trailed 10-6 heading to the fourth quarter, but managed two late touchdowns to overcome the deficit and hold off the frawgs.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS – Iowa State traveled to Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas and beat the TCU Horned Frogs, 20-17, in front of 44,197 fans.

The Cyclones trailed 10-6 heading to the fourth quarter, but managed two late touchdowns to overcome the deficit and hold off the frawgs.

TCU leads the all-time series 9-7, including a 5-3 record in Forth Worth. The Cyclones have won five
of the last six meetings going back to 2019.

Matt Campbell is now 70-55 at Iowa State and 105-70 overall as a head coach.

The Cyclones have not been shutout for 187 games, a streak that dates back to 2010.

Iowa State is 22-10 in their last 32 games, including a 10-4 record in true road games.

The Cyclones are 12-6 in their last 18 games away from home, including a 9-4 record against Big 12
opponents.

Since the start of the 2021 season, ISU has allowed just 553 points in the second half of its
62 games, an average of just 8.9 per game.

ISU has 67 total wins since 2017, the most by any current member of the Big 12.

Campbell earned his 48th Big 12 victory today, passing Mike Leach (Texas Tech) and Gary Pinkel
(Missouri) for fifth in league history.

The Cyclones have had at least one player go overthe 100 yard mark in rushing or receiving yards in
seven-straight games.

Iowa State is 42-11 under Campbell when winning the turnover battle.

Iowa State held TCU to just three points in the first half, the fewest points the Cyclones have allowed in an opening half since shutting out Houston on Sept. 28, 2024.

The Cyclones 272 yards of total offense were its fewest in a Big 12 game since having 236 against Kansas State in 2019 and the fewest in a conference victory since tallying 255 against TCU in 2017.

ISU finished with seven tackles for loss, tying a season-high from the Kansas State and Arkansas State victories.

Iowa State is now bowl eligible for the eighth time in 10 seasons under Campbell.

Iowa State quarterback Rocco Becht started his 37th-straight game at quarterback, tied for the longest active streak on the team with Tyler Miller. It is the longest active streak among Big 12 quarterbacks and fourth-longest in the nation among quarterbacks.

Moved into a tie for sixth among active FBS quarterbacks with his 24th career victory.

Tossed a first quarter touchdown pass to Benjamin Brahmer. In his 37 career starts, he has thrown a touchdown pass in 34 of them.

Cyclone punter Tyler Perkins Punted four times on the day, with three of the four landing inside the TCU 20 yard line. Of his 35 punts this season, 17 have been downed inside the 20 yard line.

The Cyclones are off next week before returning to Jack Trice Stadium for the home finale against Kansas on Nov. 22.
