Plymouth man cited after two-vehicle accident Wednesday

by Jody Spear –

MASON CITY – A Plymouth man was charged with failure to obey a traffic control device on Wednesday after he allegedly ran a red light and struck a vehicle driven by a Mason City woman.

At just after 1 PM, 82 year-old John Edward Page was driving his 2000 BMW at the intersection of Washington Avenue and 2nd Street SW near Southbridge Mall when his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by 32 year-old Kristin Gayle Daley of Mason City.

Mason City Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the scene and Daley was taken to Mercy Hospital. Her SUV had rolled over, landed on it’s top and ended up on Second Street.

It was reported that all occupants of the vehicles were out, but were being medically checked.

The accident was on the South side of Southbridge Mall, by the JCPenney stoplight.

“One of the vehicles had to have ran the stoplight,” said a bystander. “Can’t really tell which one.”

You need to learn the law if you are going to spout off. People are required to take a test after 72 years of age. I know a lot of older people that are a lot smarter, and more coordinated than most of these drug heads I see walking around.

you must be one of the old people im talking about

And you must be one of the dopers. We have paid our taxes for longer than you have been alive. You don’t get a vote in how long we get to drive. Without us you would have nothing.

Im a doper cuz I said old people shouldnt drive? haha ok old man whatever you say. I see you on every single story making comments and being disrespectful to everyone.. Get a hobby or something.

It is easy to be disrespectful to a dumb A## doper like you. Get a education and then come back and see me when you grow up, Boy.

Say Dillon-did you get your momma to read my post to you? Who did you get to explain them to you after she read them? Was it before or after she changed your diaper and put you to bed?

this is why once you hit a certain age you should have to take drivers test annually. old people are more dangerous behind the wheel than drunks.
