Josh Ruby has been spectacular at the I-35 Speedway. He has won three out of the last four weeks. The week he didn’t win, Levi Nielson was Feature Winner, and Ruby didn’t race.
Let’s hear it for Larry Portis, bringing in his fifth Feature win of the season. Team Winkowitsch said, “Blake Cole did a good job against Larry Portis, it was fun to watch. Coming out of the Hornets, at only 15 years old, he gave a good show against the Point Leader.”
Kyle Germundson put on another challenging race this week. This time it was with Dan Tenold racing for the first place finish, with Tenold winning the Sports Mod ahead of Germundson, who came in second. Last week Germundson just missed winning the Feature against George Nordman.
Heath Tulp (car pictured, right) won his second Feature race, Sunday night, for the second week in a row.
Kelly Miller was the winner of the Pro Hornets and Oliver Monson won the Jr. Hornets.
