AREDALE – NIT reported last week that vandals had struck a newly-landscaped area and posts that were to hold a new welcome sign on the edge of the small town.
Mayor Jeremy Minnier and other volunteers had worked that weekend to landscape the sign area and plant flowers in preparation for a new sign that was on the way, procured with grant dollars.
Vandals had broken landscaping blocks and scattered them and snapped the two supporting posts for the sign.
“We’ll be right back there fixing it,” Minnier had promised.
Yesterday, Minnier unveiled the new sign, with everything fixed and replaced nicely.
“The new sign is finally completed and in place, thank you to all who helped,” the mayor said.
Let’s hope the vandals stay away this time.

Congratulations to Aredale. The sign is great and so is Aredale.
The Kunckle-dragger or dragger’s that can’t handle Aredale having a nice sign are jealous.
meh, doubt they are jealous. Prolly just plain old drunk.
