Mark Hanson of Kanawha has been alerted by Guinness World Records that his achievement has been made official and added to their website.
You can check out the page here.
Hanson (pictured) set a world record on December 17, 2011 at the National Guard Armory in Mason City for the most juggling catches in one minute (3 balls).
Hanson, who has been juggling for 41 years, eclipsed the old record of 339 catches with his 417.
“I’m working right now to top that,” Hanson said this weekend. “I won’t give you a number yet,” but it could be substantially more, he said. His wife talked him out of giving the new number he is shooting for.
Hanson will be presented with a certificate in the near future by Regan Banks, who helped organize the event in December where Hanson made his record attempt.
A shoe-in for the http://www.juggling.org/fame. (I hope I linked to the official juggling Hall of Fame and not just a group saying they are a juggling hall of fame.) Either way – great story. Congratulations to Mr. Hanson.
Congratulations Mark.
