The North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) Vocal Music Department proudly presents the 37th Annual Quodlibet variety show. This year’s program is World Tour 2012.

Show times will be at 7:30 p.m. on April 26 and April 27 and at 3:00 p.m. on April 29 in the North Iowa Community Auditorium on the NIACC campus.

The “World Tour” theme brings excitement and a broad range of music to the stage.  Featured music will include great international artists including ABBA, Men at Work, and the Beatles.  Other great features include music from the motion picture Slum Dog Millionaire and Musicals Evita, In the Heights, Fiddler on the Roof and more.

Musical Director Jayson Ryner says the audience should expect great performances.

“The music is so varied and fresh,” Ryner said. “We represent all forms of pop music from Latin American to the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, India, Japan and Polynesia. It is one of the most exciting shows I have directed.  The students have really gone above and beyond in selecting music and preparing for this show.”

Quodlibet tickets can be purchased at either Hy-Vee Location, the NIACC Box Office or by calling 641-422-4188 or toll free at 1-888-466-4222, Ext. 4188.

Tickets cost $7 for adults and $4 for students.
