FORT DODGE – A teen has been arrested in connection with an attempted murder that took place last summer in Fort Dodge.
On Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at approximately 10:50 PM, the Webster County Telecommunications Center received information of possible shots fired. The information provided offered a generalized location the shots may be coming from, which was the Olsen Park area of Fort Dodge. Officers checked around the area, but ultimately were unable to locate evidence of shots being fired.
On August 8, 2019, a report was made regarding shots being fired at an occupied residence in the Pleasant Valley neighborhood of Fort Dodge. It was determined this incident was likely the shots fired being reported from the evening prior. No injuries were reported in the incident.
This afternoon, 17‐year‐old Isiah C. Mosley of Fort Dodge, was arrested and charged with the following in reference to this incident:
Attempted Murder (B Felony)
Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon (C Felony)
Going Armed with Intent (D Felony)
Possession of a Firearm as a Felon (D Felony)
Mosley is being charged as an adult as it relates to this incident. He is scheduled to make his initial appearance in Webster County Magistrate Court tomorrow morning at 9:00 A.M. Mr. Mosley is currently being held in the Webster County Jail on a $140,000 cash bond.
