MASON CITY – Shortly after 8pm on Saturday, October 8th, two inmates at the Cerro Gordo County Jail were engaged in a fight in the housing unit after one inmate struck the other inmate.
As a result Sean Knutson, age 41, of 2421 Taft Ave South Apartment 7, Mason City was charged with one count of simple assault for causing the fight.
Sean Knutson is currently serving a 40 day sentence after pleading guilty on October 6th in Cerro Gordo County District Court to unauthorized use of a credit card over $1,000.
