College Basketball: Iowa State Cyclones sign St. Mary’s transfer forward Joshua Jefferson
AMES – Iowa State men’s basketball coach T.J. Otzelberger has announced the addition of a fourth transfer to the 2024-25 Iowa State roster. St. Mary’s transfer Joshua Jefferson will join the Cyclones this summer.
Kim Reynolds to lead trade, investment mission to India
The trade mission is planned for September 13-22, 2024, and will include Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig and a delegation of agricultural and business leaders.
College Football: Iowa State Cyclones to open 2025 season with game in Ireland versus Kansas State
AMES – Iowa State will play its first-ever football game outside of the United States when it opens the 2025 season against Kansas State in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, August 23, 2025, at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
North Iowa Area Community College, Northeast Iowa Community College and One Cedar Valley receive federal Title I grant
The Title I grant funding will support initiatives that provide workforce services to youth and adults who face barriers to employment. NIACC, NICC and One Cedar Valley will use an employer-driven education and training services model to assist with meeting local workforce needs.

SAC COUNTY – The 5-month saga of the search for missing Iowa truck driver David Schultz ended Wednesday when his remains were located in a Northern Iowa farm field.

IOWA CITY – Police in Iowa City were called to the downtown area Wednesday night, where they nabbed a suspect after he allegedly attacked and stabbed a person multiple times.
