I’ve been watching some of these fire rescues on MSNBC and I have to say it appears that rescuers don’t always operate in the most intelligent or expedient fashion. Hey Buzz, I’ve been thinking about this lately. I know that technically I’m right about everything I’ve brought up, but it’s not fun being correct all the time. I used to sell and repair TV’s back in the 80’s and 90’s. What I noticed was that the small TV shops would order TV’s from the manufacturer, let say I ordered 5 TV’s and every shop in town would order 5 so that would be 15 TV’s ordered. The manufacturer would make hundreds of parts so when they finished our order they would have hundreds of extra parts. They would throw them all together to make more, the parts were not made for that model but would work but not for long and those would be sent to the big chain stores. They realized they could make more money that way so they fazed out the small shops thus started the inferior products.

Fights all over town last night. Car loads of thugs running around the city core with baseball bats. Domestic Fights all over, 10 to 20 people in a fight at Tailgators. This is starting to be real common there. The whole city has gone to hell now that we have all the imports from Chitcago here.
I think the big fight was at wise guys. Not that it makes a big difference. But they did have the after fight party up at wise guys last night. And by after fight party I mean the fights at fairgrounds.
I use to be a patron at Wiseguys. It was quiet and nice. That is what I liked about it. I would go there early, have a beer or 2, and watch some sports. Once again, the bullies, thugs, and overdrinkers have ruined another great place. Took me years to realize one thing, where ever alcohol is consumed in large amounts, there will always be trouble. I stay home now, it’s the better choice at least in this town.

I would like to comment on the issue of eleven’s liquor license possibly being revoked. It needs to be. Not only are there numerous problems there with fights, but there’s a drug issue also. I’m not a bar patron, but I have known 3 people that have been drugged at eleven. These people blacked out, passed out and cannot comprehend anything that happened to them. And each of them had only one drink and didn’t even finish drinking them. They were unresponsive for a few hours coming out of it in a complete fog. And then the rumors that if anyone wants ecstasy, that’s the place to get it. And then there’s the underage issue.
